This Shipping Policy explains how delivery is handled for orders placed through the Karo application.
Karo operates as an intermediary platform that displays stores and their products, with a supervisory and organizational role over the platform. Karo does not carry out delivery itself, does not sell products, and does not receive payments on behalf of stores. Purchase, payment, and dealings related to an order take place directly between the user and the store.
Delivery is carried out by the store or by a delivery provider engaged by the store. The store is responsible for preparing the order and delivering it to the user in accordance with its own arrangements. Karo does not replace the store in responsibility for performing delivery.
Karo may provide the platform or a means of communication to help the user follow up on an order with the store.
The store determines delivery timeframes, delivery fees, and the areas it covers. This information should be clear to the user before completing the order, to the extent available through the platform or from the store.
Delivery timeframes and fees may vary from one store to another and from one area to another, depending on each store’s policy and delivery conditions.
Any issue related to delivery, including delay, non-receipt, loss, or damage during delivery, should preferably be raised with the store first.
If the issue is not resolved or you need help, you may contact Karo. We will seek to assist you, communicate with the store, and attempt to resolve the issue as far as reasonably possible.
This assistance role does not mean that Karo guarantees delivery timeframes or automatically assumes liability for delay, loss, or damage, except where required by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Karo does not guarantee delivery timeframes and does not automatically assume responsibility for delay, failure to deliver, or loss or damage of an order during delivery, while you retain the right to request Karo’s assistance as described above.
Nothing in this policy excludes any rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Karo may update this policy at any time. Any update takes effect once the revised version is published in the app or on the website. Continued use of Karo after publication constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
